Water School – Climate Change
On February 28th, the Tulcán National Water Secretariat (SENAGUA), led the training process of the Water School. This time, the ALTROPICO Foundation supported the training by helping with the seventh module which thematic is the Climate Change and its effects in Ecuador, this training was directed to the representatives of the water board in Espejo canton.
During this workshop, people exchanged their experiences about the incidences of agriculture and climate change in their locations and shared simple mitigation practices and ways to adapt to climate change. Throughout this formation, the board members will strengthen their knowledge and skills for better governance and integral management of water basins.
MacArthur Foundation financed this workshop, and 14 water board members attended to it.
